Client: Kodak Gallery
"With so many options available to you, we think it's only fair to give you 10 reasons why the Gallery is the best place to bring your photos." Rollover any of the 10 reasons on the left, and the right changes to reflect the highlighted content on the left. I coded this page originally, in CSS-P/DHTML when it was part of Ofoto. It has since been updated.
Client: Stratton Gardens
Coding of falling snowflakes using a timeline. It has the effect of Flash, but no plug in is required!
Client: Fundamental Capital
Flash effects without requiring the Flash plug-in. Rollover the gears to learn more about each topic. While most graphic designers will create this effect using simple image rollover effect, these explanations are text based and search engine friendly.
Client: Cyclone Microsystems
Functionality: Writes out today's date. Used in numerous sites I have developed, the text can be easily altered to meet varied presentation requirements.
Client: APIAHF, NCLR, ENACT and GWOB
Installed FDSE Perl Search engine that searches for indicated keywords within local site only and reports back results. Search engine is accessible from every page of the website and results page has the same look and feel as the rest of the site.
Client: Your Space Online
Functionality: This multi-level ordering and check out process was hand coded in JavaScript. The user enters enough information required to purchase the item and determine cost. Via JavaScript, the form relays the correct total due to PayPal. After purchase, there are several more steps required of the client to complete the order. Cookies simplify the process by remembering the users information, automatically filling our required form elements, and calculating cost adjustments if changes are made.
Client: Adam Photography
Functionality: Hand-coded shopping cart with almost 200 gallery pages and over 1,000 item combinations available. Costumer clicks on photo in main gallery which pops up a window with product cost and sizes. To order, customer clicks on "order now". An alert informs client of order, and they are then brought to Shopping Cart Contents" displaying current order. Clicking on "order now" brings client to order form, where contents are again displayed. The shopping cart incorporates client side cookies.
Client: Olivia Cruises and Resorts
Functionality: Hand coded slide show, the images fade to the next and the caption changes with each image. The images in these slide shows are ina never ending loop.
Client: SFGrrlz, The Mind Rules
PHP calendar of activities pulling data from a MySQL database. Client has access to create, modify, and delete calendar events. End users can view calendar. By clicking on event link, details of the event open in a pop-up window. The admin section of the calendar is password protected.
