As a Usability and Accessibility expert, I have extensive experience developing Section 508 / Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant web sites, retrofitting existing web sites to meet Section 508 standards, and training web development and lay staff on technology accessibility issues.

Section 508 Accessible Web sites
Coding accessible web sites not only benefits individuals with visual impairments and motor control concerns, but also benefits users with slow connectivity, small screens such as cell phones and personal digital assistants (PDA), and text only interfaces. Although some clients prefer form over function, most clients realize that creating accessible web sites from the start reduces maintenance costs, improves download time and does not negatively impact design. I can provide a written report detailing a task analysis of your user interface, an evaluation of your sites accessibility status, and recommendations on how to make improvements to meet existing guidelines. I can also re-code your web site., maintaining your existing design or provide a site re-design.

I can work with you on integrating your web site. and back-end support with JAWS and Home Page Reader screen-reading software.
